What if your best staff member left without notice? For a lot of chiropractors, that would be a nightmare. Not only because they would be losing a valuable worker, but also because many chiropractors aren’t 100% sure what their staff does.
Hopefully, that doesn’t describe you. But if it does, the root of the problem is that you haven’t ever officially established your way of doing things. At best, everything is in your head. You have no staff manual. You have no operating procedures.
As a result, some of the things that happen in your office happen because you want them to. Other things in your office randomly happen. That’s not good.
I realized that creating a systems manual sounds boring and time-consuming. But in the long-run, the upside far outweighs the downside. So I want to encourage you to take it seriously.
